Set up your Black Friday scratch card in about 10 minutes
Everything below happens inside the Superpop app and your theme editor. No code.
- 01Start from a template
Install Superpop, open Games → Templates and pick the Welcome Discount scratch card. Rename it, for example "Scratch to reveal your Black Friday deal".
- 02Set your prizes and odds
Add the rewards you want to give, such as 15% off, 20% off or free shipping. Set Probability (%) for each prize and use Max winners to cap your biggest one.
- 03Add real urgency
Set Code expiry (days) to a short window, like 3 days, so codes get used during the sale. Every code is single-use and created the moment someone wins.
- 04Match your Black Friday look
Change colors, fonts and copy to match your sale banners, and pick the popup or fullscreen layout.
- 05Turn it on
In your theme editor, open App embeds and enable the Superpop popup. Choose the Smart or Exit intent trigger and show it once per session.
- 06Send the list to your email tool
New sign-ups sync to Shopify customers, and to Klaviyo or Omnisend if you connect them, ready for your Black Friday emails.
Black Friday tips that keep it honest
- Start a week early. Turn the popup on before the sale so you grow your list and can email early-access offers.
- Make one prize special. Keep a small everyday reward for most players and cap the big one with Max winners.
- Use real deadlines, not fake timers. A short code expiry is genuine urgency shoppers can trust.
- Mobile first. Most Black Friday traffic is on phones, so preview the bottom-sheet or fullscreen layout on mobile.
- Switch games for Cyber Monday. Set up a spin wheel or mystery box from a template and turn it on for the weekend to keep returning shoppers interested.
